From March 31 to April 3, 2026, Hi Sun Fintech Global Limited (HSG) participated deeply throughout Huawei Global Financial Partners Eco-week 2026. Under the theme ” Inspire • Collaborate • Achieve, Reshaping the Future of Finance “, the event gathered more than 300 global fintech leaders. The four-day intensive agenda—from booth discussions, closed-door seminars to
solution demonstrations and strategic negotiations—served as both a systematic review of the six-year collaborative journey between the two parties and a collective outlook on the future of financial digital transformation.
Deep Roots in Regions: Engaging Global Markets with Professionalism
During the summit, HSG’s independent booth welcomed industry peers from Malaysia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong SAR, China. These business touchpoints spanning South Asia and Southeast Asia formed a two-way value validation: On the one hand, the team systematically showcased its full-stack capabilities in core banking system modernization. On the other hand, by deeply understanding regulatory requirements and digitalization pain points in regional markets, HSG gained critical market insights for subsequent product optimization and strategic expansion.
Benchmark Practice: Inclusive Finance Innovation in Bangladesh
In in-depth exchanges with regional partners, HSG highlighted its joint practices with Huawei in the Bangladesh market. Faced with the dual challenges of low financial inclusion and traditional banks under pressure from fintech competition, the two parties jointly delivered a full-stack solution covering mobile wallets, merchant acquiring and digital core banking, with all systems deployed on Huawei Cloud HCS.
The breakthrough of this solution lies in enabling banks to respond quickly to market demands without disrupting existing operations, extending financial services to the long-tail customer groups previously unserved. It has not only achieved remarkable commercial results but also demonstrated the social value of tech-enabled inclusion: leveraging China’s mature experience in fintech to advance global financial inclusion.
Six Years of Ronghai Partnership: From Pioneers to Ecosystem Co-builders
HSG is one of Huawei’s earliest technology partners and a founding member of the Ronghai Partner Program. Six years ago, when “application modernization” was still in its infancy in overseas banking, the two sides established a strategic collaboration mechanism to jointly explore viable paths for financial institutions to break through technical debt and achieve digital transformation.
The innovative “Four-Way Win-Win” cooperation mechanism proposed at the closed-door meeting of Ronghai Partner Program members—a collaborative ecosystem of Huawei, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), System Integrators (SIs) and end customers—has been fully validated in multiple regional markets.
A landmark project in their collaboration was the system migration POC in Mexico during the pandemic. Engineers from both sides completed concept validation and solution refinement, and eventually migrated the full business system of Thailand’s largest digital lending platform to Huawei Cloud. This project vividly illustrates the practical value of the “Four-Way Win-Win” model: Huawei provides the cloud foundation and global network support; HSG contributes banking-grade application platforms and delivery expertise; local partners ensure on-the-ground implementation; end customers gain agile digital capabilities, ultimately benefiting millions of end users.
Intelligence Empowers the Future: Next-Generation Banking Architecture in the AI Era
The financial industry is at a pivotal turning point where artificial intelligence is reshaping the industrial landscape. Mr. Liu Renzo, Vice President of HSG, stated in an interview during the summit:”A future-oriented banking architecture must be cloud-native and AI-driven at its core.”
Currently, HSG is fully developing next-generation banking solutions with a completely reimagined system architecture tailored to the needs of the digital economy. Building on nearly three decades of deep experience in the banking industry, HSG will work hand in hand with Huawei and more industry partners across the Asia-Pacific and broader international markets to serve the digital transformation needs of global financial institutions, and jointly reshape the future of finance in the AI era.
